So proud of Maeve today, she received the Timbertail tshirt today for kindness. She was nominated by the kindergarten teachers in her school.
The girls said she looked so cute up in front of the school when they called her name & presented her with the shirt during the Monday morning meeting. So fun for the big two to be there to watch her & cheer her on.
I was just thankful that she let me dress her this morning & comb her hair. That does not happen every day! Even more fun, all three of the kids on the right {pictured above} are kiddos from our neighborhood. We've got a bunch of great kids in our hood, that's for sure.
Now all three of the girls have received this awesome award & we are so proud. Marin received it in 2nd grade & Marg in 1st grade.
Her teacher snapped this cute pic of her once she got back to her classroom & texted me the big news...
We are so thankful that all three of the girls are so well behaved at school & do such a great job. Very proud parents in this house!!! Of course once she got home we made a very big deal out of it & she was so excited to share the news with us. We pretended we hadn't gotten a bunch of text messages from her teacher & other teacher friends earlier that day! She was thrilled to eat her dinner on the special plate. Such a goofball.
We love you Maeve & are both so incredibly proud of our kind little girl. xoxo

Finally some snow to sled down the big hill at Grandma & Grandpa's. We got a few inches on Friday & the kids had been begging to go sledding. Today was perfect! Our plan was to start a bonfire when we got there, but it was definitely not needed. So warm outside. A few runs down the hill on a tube to pack down the snow & the kids were ready to go!
No jackets or gloves most of the afternoon. It felt pretty amazing & no one complained that they were cold! Small miracle.
Margaux & Hayden worked very hard at the bottom of the hill to make this fun friend...
They decided to name him Jerry & thought they were sooooo funny! We always have a fun group of friends sledding with us. All of the kids had a great time. Marin was definitely the queen of the hill. She didn't want to stop. Lots of great exercise going up & down that big hill.
I love that the girls will have all these great memories of sledding on the hill at my parents house. I have so many fun memories from my childhood of doing the exact same thing with my friends. Hoping we can get at least one more time in before spring hits! xoxo

65 degrees in February?!? We'll take it! The last three or four days have been just beautiful & we are loving every minute of it. Bad news is tomorrow we're back to cold & a forecast of snow {insert sad face here} This morning we decided to embrace the last nice morning for a while & walk to school.
Felt like April, we had such a nice walk with this crew...
Love our neighborhood & mornings like today! xoxo

The weekend weather was beautiful! We decided to take a drive to Chicago to purchase a new car on Saturday. By the time we got down there it was just shy of 70 degrees. Too bad we spent most of the day in the car & then at the dealership. The girls were so well behaved & once it was time to leave we drove directly to Milwaukee to spend the night there. Girls swam in the hotel pool with two of the 5 Anguil boys & then we went over to their house for a few hours so Marin could visit her
BFF Indy the dog...
If she could bring him home, she would in a heartbeat. He is such a gentle giant & is so great with the kids. This coming from me, who is definitely no dog lover. As per usual, the girls had a blast playing with the boys & did not want to go back to the hotel. They requested we never get another hotel & resort back to staying with the Anguils every time we visit!
Margaux enjoys Indy as well, just not nearly as much as Marin. Marg & Charlie had fun playing with him on the floor. Maeve warmed up after we were there for a bit, she is just not into any dogs!!
Sunday we hung out with our friends Colleen & Evelyn at our hotel pool & then did some shopping at our favorite MKE mall. The girls were all thrilled with their new clothes for spring break. Fun little weekend getaway, looking forward to our new car arriving later this week as well! xoxo

Happy Belated Valentines Day to all!
I only took one photo yesterday, I can't believe it.
Marin sitting at our candle lit dinner table. They requested steak & mushrooms of course! We had a nice dinner with the 5 of us plus Grandma, Katie, Mike & Sloane. S'mores cupcakes for dessert. One of my favorite meals of the year, the kids just love being at the table with "fancy" candles.
The kids had an awesome day & loved being able to exchange valentines with their classroom friends. Marin chose Minion valentines, Margaux Star Wars & Maeve Barbie cards. They all came home with so much candy, the house just smelled sweet. I did pop in their classrooms during the day for a few valentine shots with friends during their celebrations, so I guess I took a few pics today.
Marin & Alleda..
And Maeve at her table with her table buddies...
Love our little chicks! I know they had a great day filled with lots of love!!! xoxo

After almost a full week in sunny Bonita Springs, Florida it's back to reality here in cold Wisconsin.
I tagged along with Gary for the week on his annual sales meeting for work while the girls were home with a mix of Grandma, Katie & Wendy. So thankful they were all able to help throughout the week. The resort was just beautiful & even better when it's free! The weather couldn't have been better & I had a great week hanging by the pool, relaxing...
While Gary worked & attended meetings...
He had some nice breaks during the days when he would meet me at the pool for a bit or get a swim in. And there were a few afternoons when they got done early & he could come hang with me by one of the pools for a few hours of sun before dinner. Definitely not as relaxing for him as it was for me but he was able to enjoy the weather as well.  It was heavenly, I kept snapping pics all week with my phone, wishing I would have packed my camera.
Thursday afternoon & Friday we were able to spend a lot of time at the pools relaxing, played several games of pig {basketball} in the pool & went down the water slides a few times. We definitely missed the girls too, they would have really enjoyed the resort & especially the water slides & pools.
After the pool time Friday we headed towards Fort Myers for the night so we could get closer to the beach for Saturday. Gary's coworker rented a mustang convertible so we hitched a ride with them to Fort Myers. Not a lot of room in the car for the luggage, but we made it work & had a fun ride.
Date night Friday night. We went out for Mexican food & went to see the movie LaLa Land. Nice to have a low key night after a few late nights in the resort bar with Gary & his coworkers. Saturday we got up early & enjoyed the day at the beach before flying home Saturday night.
Long night of flying but it was great to get home & hug the girls. Two of the three made it up to see us when we got home, Maeve was out cold on the couch. Poor girl was exhausted from the long week without mom & dad. They were most excited about the sand dollars that we found for them in the ocean, got them soaking in bleach right away. A few weeks until we vacation with the kids, let the countdown begin! xoxo
