Margaux is completely obsessed with blueberries & raspberries lately. Once she finishes what I've given her... she shakes & clinches her fists with anger until she gets more. It's rediculous! And Marin is still talking about her new Woody Doll & her birthday, which is Sunday. It's definitely her birthday week!! xoxo

Today we had a small birthday party at our house for Marin. Birthday party aside, it was a great time for the girls to get together with some friends before we move in a few days.

We are seriously going to miss our friends sooo much. Look at how cute these girls are! They have so much fun playing together, it makes me a bit sad.

Marin had so much fun. Even with the house a mess & 3/4 gone I'm so glad I had this little play date for her. She's starting to understand that we're leaving in a few days & that we will eventually have a new house. (But not before we sleep at Grandma's for a while!!) It was WAY too hot for all of us to go to the park like we had planned, but we made the most of it & the kids had a great time playing inside with the few toys we have that aren't packed. And, I can not even begin to explain how happy she is with her Woody doll. It is the ONLY thing she wanted for her birthday, although she's enjoying the other presents as well. I can not believe she's going to be three. I need them to stop growing & just stay right where they are... yeah right! xoxo

A rainy day @ the Goninen's last week.... we headed up there to play & ended up going outside for a bit. A perfect opportunity to get some cute shots of the girls. Marin would wear her kitty rain boots all day, every day if she could. So the fact that it really was raining made her very happy! It was such a fun morning... we're really going to miss spending time with them & all of our other Milwaukee friends. 9 days left until moving day! Lots of packing that needs to get done yet & a birthday party for Marin! xoxo

Done! And Marin is so proud of her daddy b/c according to her "he won the big race!" We are sooooo excited for him & it's great to see that all his hard work paid off. We had a great morning. The marathon was so organized, more than I would have ever expected. The best part was that Gary wore a chip on his shoe that registered each time he crossed on of the 6 designated mile markers. So all morning long I received text updates that included the mile he was at, his pace & the estimated end time. It was so exciting to see his progress even though we weren't there with him. In the end, he finished right where he wanted @ 3 1/2 hours. Amazing. I could never do it & we are all SO proud. Needless to say, after being out until 12:30am last night @ a friends wedding & up at 5am.... Gary is sleeping & we're looking forward to celebrating tonight! He'll definitely make up for all the drinking he didn't do last night!! I'll post some more victory pics w/ his medal later. xoxo

Happy Belated Mother's Day to all... we had a great day together. I was just happy to have Gary home with us for the weekend. We actually spent the majority of the day packing boxes & organizing the girls clothes. Slowly our house is looking more & more empty. It's such an odd feeling. This weekend Gary finally runs his MARATHON!! I'm so anxious for him & excited to see him accomplish it after all the hard work & training. Definitely looking forward to it. I'll be posting some victory pictures shortly after... xoxo

A few pics from last weekend @ my mom & dad's house. You'll be seeing lots of pics at their house since we're moving in there in a few weeks. It's going to be crazy but hopefully not too bad since it's summer & we can be outside. We still have a lot of decisions to make & we're not completely sure what we're going to do... buy or build. What we do know is that we close on our house June 1st & then we'll be at Grandma & Grandpa's for a while.
