One last Valentine post. Below is a peek at our valentine tree! We took the christmas ornaments off & transformed it into a valentine tree right away. It turned out much better this year than last year. I think the pink/red/purple paper chain made all the difference. It was fun for the girls & oh so festive but I'm ready for this tree to come down. No St. Patty's tree, it's going to have to wait until Easter to come back upstairs.
Here is Marin enjoying her pink heart breakfast. (This has become quite the tradition!) Heart pancakes with syrup & whip cream and pink milk of course!
And Margaux with her heart smile face breakfast. She was sooo proud of it & she's been asking for pink milk every day since Tuesday!
And this was the best part of our day... a candle lit dinner together as a family (picture obviously taken before mommy & daddy sat down!) The girls even surprised us by singing a Happy Valentines Day song. {Sang to the tune of Happy Birthday to you} It was so cute. Definitely made mommy & daddy's day. At one point Margaux said to Marin "This is the best day ever Mawin!" Love them! xoxo

Valentine Kisses from the Brown chicks...

We hope you have a great day filled with lots & lots of LOVE...
(So hard to get a decent photo of the three of them these days. We've got a goofy one, one that is hard to distract & another that has a fake 1/2 smile!!)
Here is our Valentine that we mailed to grandparents & friends...
We've enjoyed heart shaped pancakes this morning along with pink milk
(the usual). Tonight we'll add to the celebrating with heart shaped pizza & BIG valentine cupcakes. Yummy. Such a fun day....xoxo

My friend Ashley stopped over this afternoon with these delicious cake pops for our girls...
She definitely knows how to put a big smile on our girls' faces! They absolutely loved them & I will also say they taste as good as they look. Yum!
We plannd on getting the girls some valentine bakery treats tomorrow but I think these did the trick. No need for more... at least for me! lol

We traveled down to Madison this past weekend for Grandma CeCe's 60th birthday. Marin & Margaux worked hard to make her a birthday banner & we also brought her a big cake, complete with princess & cars rings!
Here are the five cousins...
Devyn had his Nerf guns there. The girls had so much fun shooting them all over Grandma's house. This picture of Margaux is just too funny!
And it was almost 50 degrees outside so the kids had some outdoor fun. Drawing with chalk & a trip to the park.

These two little animals decided to hop into Gary's suitcase & travel to New York with him this past week. (He was traveling for work.) The girls thought it was soooo funny & really had fun seeing all of the pictures as they were sent to us throughout the week.
Here they are checking in at the air port. The picture included this message...
{Dear Marin and Margaux, when you were sleeping last night, we snuck into your Dad's computer bag. We are off to NYC! We will send pictures from our adventure! Love Piggy and Bunny.}
{Eating pizza for breakfast with your dad. Signed, Piggy and Bunny.}
{There is our plane!}
{Marin and Margaux, we made it to the hotel!  The weather is nice, but the view stinks! Signed, Piggy and Bunny.}
{Meeting adjourned. We killed it!}
I think they meant Daddy killed it!
{Look! We even found toys to play with!!!}
Oh oh!
{Heeeeellllllppppppp! We didn't look while crossing the road!}
{Piggy and Bunny's version of "where's Waldo?"}
They sure had quite the adventure & made it home safely last night. It's too bad they didn't get to travel with him to all the fancy/expensive dinners he enjoyed. I had no idea Gary was planning on doing this, so it was a surprise for me as well. We missed not having him here with us but the funny pictures helped make the week go by faster. They have the best Daddy ever! xoxo

Forgot to post this picture a few weeks ago of Gary's birthday "Face Cake." (If you've seen the cell phone commercial... you know the "face cake" comment!)
These are a few from the past few days. Our little M is soooo close to crawling...
And ALWAYS smiling. She's such a great baby! (I'd have to say the best out of the three, but the other two were good as well. We got sooo lucky!)
She's tries so hard to get to her big sisters' toys & once she finally reaches one she's get pretty excited. Whatever it is, it goes straight into her mouth. (Still no teeth) Soon enough she'll be all over the place.
Here are the two goofy ones posing for a pic in their pj's...
And then there is this....
Both Marin & Margaux have found it sooo fun to sleep camped out on their bedroom floor lately. The first night Marin chickened out & ended up back in her bed. Little Margaux slept on the floor with every blanket she could find in our house & a large handful of animals as well. By night two, Marin was willing to give it another try. I guess it was something different & yet another adventure for the two of them. I can't imagine it was comfortable but by the 4th night we had a bit of a battle when trying to get them back into their beds! (Other than one more request to be on the floor the next night, they haven't asked since!) On to the next thing I'm sure... xoxo

Wow, it's been a while! Not much new, we have been spending lots of our time with our Australian friends, {Shan.Mick&Brody} they left Sunday to head home after an entire month+ in Wisco. It was so great to have them here & we really enjoyed all of our time spent with them. We're already looking forward to summer when they come back again! Here is a pic of Maeve & her bff Brody. {It was nap time & they were both REALLY unhappy... I love how she's looking at him.}

And here are a few photos of the big girls with their new BFF's,
Samantha...
And Darby...
They've spent countless hours with their new friends ever since they arrived Christmas morning. It's amazing how much they love them! {Thank goodness because they are not cheap friends!}
They are already asking for new accessories for both dolls as well.
It's like having two more little girls. Marin & Margaux like their dolls to be dressed in pj's before bed each night & then dressed in the morning as well.
Katie {my sister} has American Girl bunk beds from when she was little that we borrowed & the dolls have been sleeping in them each night.
Darby & Samantha also have pets. Samantha has an American Girl Dog named Coconut & Darby has a cat named Praline. {We forgot about them during this photo shoot!}
Such a fun thing for them. I've enjoyed hiding around the corner & listening to their conversations while playing with the dolls. ALL of their neighborhood friends also got their own AG dolls, so they can all get together to play! xoxo

And here is our big 3 year old, whom I keep saying is 2 by accident (just a year long habit) and she does not like it. She keeps correcting me. So funny!
She was so happy to take 3 year old pictures. She's so proud of the fact that she's a big girl & gets to go to school now that she's three. (Once summer is over)
We had so much fun with her little photo session (Marin @ school, Maeve napping).
We even took a Butterfinger break 1/2 way through & this is what happened...
She got even more silly than her usual...
Absolutely hilarious. Hard to even keep the camera still while laughing at her!
Turns out her last pictures were my favorite...
Guess she really did need a mid-session energy boost! We love her spunky little self so much. Between her & daddy they keep our house full of laughs! And speaking of Daddy, today is his BIRTHDAY as well! Happy Birthday Gary! We love you! xoxo
This little cutie is 6 months old & counting...just snapped these photos today & now that I think of it, she's getting closer to 7 months! Such a fun age (I could say that about all of them at any time...the fun moments just keep coming.)
This is what she's doing a lot of lately, creeping from the sitting position. She ends up on her stomach after diving forward from this position. Definitely curious & will probably be crawling before we know it...

Such a little ham... I love this picture!

And the cheeks keep getting bigger & bigger! She loves food...we can't feed her enough!
Happy belated 1/2 birthday Maeve! xoxo

Happy New Year!!!
And Happy Birthday to our spunky little Margaux!
She told us weeks ago that she really wanted a "Winnie and the Pooh" birthday this year. A bit of a surprise since we don't watch Winnie the Pooh or EVER talk about it, but whatever! We were not surprised that she came up with something quite random...that's so her! So we went with it & had a full blown Winnie the Pooh birthday. She had so much fun. Here she is with her cupcakes that she shared with all of her neighborhood friends...
Blowing out her candles for the first time (Sunday, one day before her actual birthday.)
And here she is with her actual birthday cake. She picked out a "stand-up" Winnie the Pooh cake a few weeks ago while when we "googled" WTP cakes. I told her that it was a hard cake to make & we probably should pick a new one... that was until I thought of my grandma Betty & her amazing cake-making abilities. She was happy to create the cake for little Marg & it turned out GREAT!!! (Thanks Gram... It was a huge hit!)
This one is one of my favorites...Margaux's face is priceless as she watches Gary chop Winnie's head off...
And here she is so proud with the big head on her special plate...
Can't believe she's three already. Hard to believe when she's still barely able to wear 2T clothes w/o them falling off. Although she's got the mind of a 12 year old already... so goofy & always making us laugh. We love you Margaux & Happy Birthday!!! xoxo
