Happy New Year!!
We rang in 2016 with a bang yesterday... full of fun & excitement.
We started the day off with some sledding at grandma & grandpa's with some neighbor friends. Fresh snow from the snow storm earlier this week made the sledding perfect.
It didn't take long for them to be covered in snow & having a blast. The snow was perfect, they were just flying down the hill. I am always terrified that someone is going to break a bone or something. It is a huge hill! Maeve didn't last long, but she was out long enough to enjoy quite a few trips down the hill & she loved it.
These two did not travel down the hill once alone. They went down on top of each other every time & many times they were flying off the sled half way down the hill.
We are all very thankful that it FINALLY snowed & we were able to enjoy it this week during Christmas break. The kids have been outside in the snow all week. We're hoping to get some sledding in again this weekend before they head back to school. It has been so nice having Gary home all week too.
Last night we hung out here at home for a bit before joining our friends/neighbors for New Years Eve gatherings. I bought the girls 2016 glasses that did not fit their heads well, but we got a photo! Marin snapped one of Gary & I as well. Love my little photographers!
We snapped a family selfie before heading out to hang with friends. {notice Gary's crazy mustache.. I am not a fan! He looks creepy!}
All three were so excited to be able to stay up til midnight with their friends. They watched movies all night in the basement while the adults hung out upstairs watching football most of the night.
 We watched the ball drop in NYC at 11pm & then at midnight had fireworks in our neighborhood. It was a lot of fun, although we are all pretty tired today! The girls are all outside playing in the snow with friends & I am just trying to get the house in order. Looking forward to a relaxing night & celebrating the birthday girl tomorrow!!! xo
